Equity between secondary users in a cognitive radio network

Ensuring fairness in the allocation of free channels to Secondary Users (SUs) in a Cognitive Radio Network (CRN) is a big problem for researchers. In this work, we develop a new algorithm, explaining the parameters of channel assignment, by identifying the SU, the number of packets to send and the slots and channels to use. To calculate the effectiveness of the algorithm, we use the Equity Index Jain (EIJ) as an indicator of performance. The results show values of EIJ always close to 1, which proves the effectiveness of the algorithm.
